Right now the Department of the Interior is undertaking an unprecedented review of 27 national monuments established since 1996, including Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante. Presidents of both parties have designated monuments going back to the days of Teddy Roosevelt. It's time to let Secretary Zinke know why our public lands need to remain protected now—and for future generations.
